cinnamind

recently i read about this local man who lived to be 110 years old and is still living. he holds several foods responsible for his health but cinnamon is something i've heard about before so i've been on this super weird cinnamon-on-everything kick, even in my iced coffee. cinnamon is the secondmost inner bark layer in the trees of sri lanka and southern india. the trees are harvested by growing a single tree for two years and then cutting it down til there is only a stump remaining. after time, about a dozen new trees will sprout from that stump. the bark is removed and dried and sold at the market. Within the past decade, researchers have found that cinnamon extracts have been effective against both HIV1&2. Because cinnamon has an antiviral properties, recent research documents anti-melanoma activity and apparently if you sniff cinnamon powder it is proven to help with your smarts and memory. Researchers actually used a mouse model of alzheimer's disease and the cinnamon plant inhibited the alzheimer's development. ALSO when you add cinnamon to food it inhibits bacterial growth and food spoilage which makes sense if you think of people as slowly spoiling food.

(another) recently i was talking to a good friend about the importance of learning for yourself and how much more confident we can be as far as decision making. the more uneasy we are about a decisions, the more you must learn. the more you know, the less time spent wandering around. ive come to realize that wandering is the most unhealthy of it all. fear is not knowing, too much time is spent deciding. live your dreams by learning.
